Re-Refining

At Mesa Oil’s New Mexico facility, used oil is processed through a wiped film evaporator to produce vacuum gas oil. Vacuum gas oil is the first step before the VGO is run through a hydrotreating finishing process to produce base lube oil.

When used lubrication oil is re-refined, the base oil can be re-used over and over again in lubrication products. By doing so we reduce our overall demand for crude oil
